Tonsils

This week I took the girls to their ENT Dr. for their 12 mo. post ear tubes checkup. they all behaved themselves in the dr.'s office and let him inspect their ear tubes. When he looked at Rachel, though, he told me that her tonsils are huge. Well, that explains the loud snoring and breating funny when she's asleep. She will be having another type of ear tubes put in. These are supposed to last longer and she will also be having a tonsilectomy. She is so eager to have it done. She likes the dr. and she likes going to the hospital because there are other kids there to play with and lots and lots of toys to keep her busy. Poor thing doesn't realize that she is going to be in a lot of pain for the following ten days until she heals. I'll have to make sure to give her some extra TLC durring that time.
